About the Editor: Rachel Wolf

Rachel Rubin Wolf is a freelance writer, editor and artist. She has acquired and edited many books for North Light, including those in the Splash: The Best of Watercolor series and the Strokes of Genius: The Best of Drawing series. She is also the author of Painting the Many Moods of Light; Painting Ships, Shores and the Sea; and The Acrylic Painter’s Book of Styles and Techniques.

Wolf studied painting and drawing at the Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts) and the Kansas City Art Institute, and she received her B.F.A. from Temple University in Philadelphia. Wolf resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, and continues to paint in both watercolor and oils.
